The subject of the invention is a flexible foamed polyurethane-rubber composite containing rubber particles derived from post-consumer automobile tires, and a method for obtaining a flexible foamed polyurethane-rubber composite containing rubber particles derived from post-consumer automobile tires. The invention is particularly applicable to the manufacture of building materials, carpet underlay, damping mats and other products designed to damp acoustic and mechanical vibrations.
